Timeline of Baker Group

2005

Lisa Baker was catapulted into the recruitment world after many years of working in warehousing and logistics at Arla Foods.

Chosen for her professionalism, expertise, and knowledge, Lisa was seconded to a rapidly growing recruitment company based in Leeds.

2007

Lisa's love and passion for recruitment made an impact! It became evident in the early stages that Lisa's energy and relationship-building were by far her biggest strengths.

She thrived on the challenge of winning new business and demonstrating supply chain improvements.

And as a result of Lisa's flair for new business development and client engagement, her first on-site was with none other than Coca-Cola Enterprises.

2008

More blue-chip companies were added to the list of satisfied customers as Lisa's positive impact on client onboarding continued to grow.

2010

An exciting new chapter began as Lisa took on her first directorship role as Branch Network Director.

2012

In her leadership role, Lisa spent almost four years developing an established client portfolio.

With responsibility for recruitment and process improvement, she led the delivery of supply chain efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives. This valuable experience paved the way for the next steps.

2015

With first-hand experience working closely with many operations, Lisa began sharing this best practice with other recruitment teams.

2019

Lisa embarked on a whole new experience and became a joint share-holder in a well-established recruitment agency, partnering many blue chip Clients across the UK.

2023

Following an extremely successful few years consulting with over 50 clients across West Yorkshire, a decision was made to take sole ownership of the business, and Baker Group was born!

During the last year, we’ve helped to raise over £25,000 for St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds, Yorkshire’s largest hospice. It’s a fantastic charity that does so much to help provide the best possible care and support for local people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
