Lisa is the energetic leader of Baker Group. Lisa brings a wealth of recruitment experience from her 20-year career, is passionate about helping others fulfil their ambitions, and loves meeting different people from all walks of life.
As our founder, Lisa has created a friendly and fun workplace while leading by example to mentor our team of consultants. Lisa aims to grow Baker Group as an ethical business and continue offering our clients a personable and consultative approach.
Motivated to make a difference
Making a difference is what motivates Lisa in business. That’s why her proudest moments have been establishing partnerships with blue-chip clients, delivering major cost savings, and improving recruitment services.
As a child, Lisa had a glimpse of her future role as a leader and mentor by being the teacher in make-believe classes with her friends.
But Lisa also got her hands dirty by starting her career with a printing company as a 16-year-old. Lisa’s role involved heavy lifting, long hours, and learning about meeting targets.
Launching Baker Group
Lisa carved out a successful and rewarding career with Arla Foods, gaining an in-depth understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and logistics. Being a woman in a man’s world came with its own challenges, but Lisa overcame these obstacles and developed her own unique flair for business.
After four years as a director and joint-owner of Accept Recruitment, Lisa made the momentous decision to become the sole owner. Combining her unparalleled expertise and engaging personality, Lisa launched Baker Group in 2023.
To relax, Lisa loves meeting up with friends, dancing and enjoying fine food. Lisa also has a Cavapoo called Teddy, her constant shadow who lights up her day.
